At theEngland Athletics 5 mile championshipsin Preston,Josh Grace was the overall winner with Holly Archer taking the women's title. Jamie Webb ran an impressive 800m in the European team championships in Poland, for second place overall. Sarah Inglis will also be proud of her effort in the women's 5000m, with a third-place finish.

Read moreOur results show that parkruns were amongst the biggest events this weekend with high numbers and fast finishers across the UK. Jonny Hay (handicap -4.5) was the fastest in the UK after his win at the Bushy parkrun with 14:36, which also had the biggest UK parkrun numbers. Hayley Carruthers (handicap -1.5) was the top woman with her 16:20 in theKingsbury Water parkrun. Emile Cairess (handicap -5.8) impressed on the track in the EAP Belfast International Meeting where Ciara Mageean (handicap -1.6) also won impressively.
