Racing galore in Northern Ireland last weekend

Northern Ireland runners were spoilt for choice at the weekend with a 10,000m track race, cross country and a road race to choose from. Chasing another world record, Tommy Hughes was involved with the fastest track 10,000m event in the UK and Ireland for 2020 at the Mary Peters Track on Saturday that saw the overall winner clock 28:30.91. Behind this time Tommy Hughes was chasing another M60 world record of 33:57.

Inglis impresses with 2:29 marathon to top 2020 runbritain rankings

The much awaited debut from Canada-based PE teacher, Sarah Inglis, came to fruition over the weekend with an excellent marathonperformance in Arizona at the North American 'Marathon Project' event. With 74 and 75 minute splits her pacing was almost on point for this debutant over 26 miles and saw her take top spot in the rankngs for 2020.

More than £13,000 raised for Ealing Foodbank by local runners

Residents of Ealing and further afield have taken part in a virtual challenge organised by Ealing Half Marathon Legacy (EHM Legacy), the community interest company behind Ealing Half Marathon. The challenge was organised as a replacement for the cancelled Osterley Park 10K and raised over £13,000 for Ealing Foodbank.
