The report is based on a paper published in Nature Communications in May 2014 (http://www.nature.com/ncomms/2014/140513/ncomms4775/full/ncomms4775.html).This advice, however, appears to contradict known cardio-protective effects of endurance exercise, writes Dr. Derek Ball of Heriot Watt University.
