What's new on runbritain?

Reward RunningOver the weekend our statistical experts have greatly increased the depth of the runbritain rankings section, which could be accessed previously only on our sister site, Power of 10.

As things now stand, you have to reach about 70% on the age graded tables to make the rankings which is arguably more achievable than before; this equates to 19:00 5k, 40:00 10k or 90:00 half marathon for senior men and 22:00 5k, 45:00 10k or 1:40:00 half marathon for senior women.

In the marathon the rankings are covered off down to the London Marathon Good for Age levels at the very least!

Don't worry if you haven't quite reached these levels yet, the unique runbritain handicap scoring system and national ladder are available to runners of all abilities and are proving increasingly popular; in fact, we’ve just passed the figure of 190,000 runners who  have a position on the national ladder!

In addition, many of you will have already signed up for the April Reward Running competition.

If you’ve not already done so, sign up now because at the end of the month the runners who are in the top 10 of the leaderboard for that month (and have officially signed up!) will win a prize - an adidas miCoach for the winner, and Sennheiser headphones for the rest.

The April Reward Running competition is already hotting up with Keith Donald currently leading from Paul Quinton and Wayne Sibthorpe. Check out the latest positions through the following link to our dedicated Reward Running pages.

Don't forget, April is also a bonus month and we’re awarding a spot prize of a pair of Sennheiser headphones so please login to your profile (or first claim your handicap) at www.runbritainrankings.com to enter.

In addition to all of the above, please also check out our Facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/runbritain

A treat is in store for our 10,000th ‘like’ and, while you’re there, we really want to hear about your weekend's racing, if you're injured (we hope not!) and what you’re doing to keep active, and what you like about the spring racing season.
