It was another busy weekend across the UK with some quality track racing and a return to winning ways for Charlie Hulson in Wrexham, where he had one of his biggest winning margins ever of over three minutes!
Charlie Hulson (handicap -4.5) has been resettling near to his North Wales origins and chose the Helena Tipping 10k to set a marker as he embarks on his autumn plans. He was well ahead of the chasers as he clocked 29:59, with second position coming in at 33:00. Claire Martin (handicap 2.8) was the women’s winner in 36:57.
On a hot Summer's night in Milton Keynes, the English 5000m championships hosted a busy day of 5000m racing, confirming that strength in depth is returning to the distance running community.
