Weekend Update

It has been a busy weekend on the roads with good running conditions and fast times recorded. The Asics London10k saw Josh Griffiths (handicap -5.5) win in under 30 minutes ahead of the more esteemed Dewi Griffiths (handicap -6.5) who finished third. Meanwhile, thousands of performances were recorded over the 610 parkruns that feature on our results page with 1200 finishers at the biggest in Bushy Park.
Almost 9,000 runners finished the Asics London 10k where Joshua Griffiths was the top man with a time of 29:47 ahead of Joshua Grace (29:56) and Dewi Griffiths (30:12). Rebecca Murray (handicap -0.6) was an impressive women’s winner in 33:46.
Meanwhile, more then 3000 took to the streets at the Orsted Great Grimsby 10k where fast times were also the order of the day with Lewis Jagger (handicap -2.1) running a PB to win in 30:09 and Calli Thackery (handicap 1.6) winning the women’s event in 35:13.
With 610 parkruns in the UK, Bushy Park was again the largest of the parkruns.
