Did you race this weekend? The results are rolling in. The Leeds Abbey Dash was again a massive event as the winners stormed to 28:45 and 31:34 with over 6000 finishing too!

The Leeds Abbey Dash saw an impressive turnout and plenty of PBs. The home nations were well represented on the podium with Charlotte Arter (handicap -1.8) climbing the UK all time list to 5th fastest with a memorable 31:34 clocking.

Charlotte continued her exceptional form with this massive 43-second PB. Abbie Donnelly(handicap -0.7) also bettered her personal best by two-and-a-half minutes to take second. Beth Potter (handicap -0.5) rounded off the top three, coming home in 32:05, just outside her personal best of 32:02.

Omar Ahmed (handicap  -6.4) held off Ross Millington (handicap -3.9) in a sprint finish to earn victory on his 10k debut on the roads of  West Yorkshire, cutting the tape in 28:38. Millington was a second further back, with Adam Craig (handicap -5.0) rounding off the top three in 28:45.

Many of these runners will be aiming to run in the European Cross Country Championships later in the season and their results augur well for the winter season ahead.

The Valencia Half Marathon were expecting an attempt on the women’s world record. However, a fall near the beginning left Sifan Hassan finishing in a surprising second place behind Teferi Sora who won it in one of the fastest times ever by a woman in 65:32.

Lily Partridge (handicap -0.8) pictured aboove, showed a return to form with 71:58 whilst. Emma Mitchell (handicap 0.3), Northern Ireland's 10,000m record holder, had a great day, with a PB to finish in 72:28.

The men also scored great PBs with Manx-man Ollie Lockley (handicap-5.1) running 63:01 and Jack Gray (handicap -5.4) finishing in 63:15.
