We have looked at the top ten male and female performances on the road, from the results we have, based on the handicap score for last week's performances.

Apart from two performances at the Zevenheuvelenloop in the Netherlands,  all of this week's top performances came from the final round of the runbritain Grand Prix at the Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash where runners enjoyed cool and still conditions.  Steph Twell (handicap MINUS 1.0) won the women's race and set her first personal best time on the road since 2010. It was also a personal best time for the winner of the men's race. Andrew Butchart (handicap MINUS 5.3), who has previously done most of his racing on the track, ran 42 seconds faster than his previous personal best time for 10k that he set in September this year. Many of the UK's top runners travelled to Leeds to make a final push on the standings in the Grand Prix and their share of £18,800. 52 men ran under 31 minutes for the 10k distance and 27 women ran sub 36 minutes.

To calculate the top ten performances of the week, we have taken the basic handicap score for the performance on the day and the SSS score which rates how difficult it was to run a quick time on the day and arrived at the net score which is the basic minus the SSS.

The table below also shows the actual handicap score, which also factors in their previous performances and regular racing.
