Leicester Marathon - 586 finishers
We have looked at the top ten male and female performances on the road, from the results we have, based on the handicap score for last week's performances. Perhaps not surprisingly, all of this week's top performances for men and half for women came from the Bupa Great South Run and four of the top women's performances came from the BMW Frankfurt Marathon.
To calculate the top ten we have taken the basic handicap score for the performance on the day and the SSS score which rates how difficult it was to run a quick time on the day and arrived at the net score which is the basic minus the SSS.
The table below also shows the actual handicap score, which also factors in their previous performances and regular racing.
