There was a thrilling finish at the Essar Four Villages Half Marathon  as Mohammed Abu-Rezeq (handicap MINUS 4.0) was awarded 1st place with Josh Lilly (handicap MINUS 4.1) having to settle for 2nd. Mohammed ran the course in 65:46 with Josh just one second behind. Diane McVey (handicap 1.9) was a convincing winner in the women's race as she crossed the line in 79:23 and more than a minute in front of her nearest rival.
