Susan Partridge (handicap MINUS 1.6) won the women's race in 70:40. The race took the runners past some of Glasgow's most iconic venues, finishing on Glagow Green and providing an atmosphere of great anticipation for the forthcoming 2014 Commonwealth Games. Callum Hawkins (handicap MINUS 4.6) won the 10k and Beth Potter (handicap 0.0) was the first female finisher. The races were preceded by "Super Saturday" events for children and families.
