Warrington Wonder Women running the world

At the beginning of the year a group of mums, aunties, grandmothers and cousins set their group target to run the world in 2014 and raise £12,500 in aid of Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

The group's challenge is to run the equivalent distance, in road races, that they would cover if they were to run around the world. To date they have already raised £8000 by taking part in events such as the Helsby Half Marathon, the Cheshire 10k and the Greater Manchester Marathon.

THE Warrington Wonder Women is an-all female running club that is totally inclusive of all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities. The club was started in 2012 by Victoria Royle, whose Greater Manchester Marathon run took the group over the £8000 milestone.
