Volunteers needed for Brathay Windermere Marathon

With the Brathay Windermere Marathon just eight weeks away, the organisers are appealing for extra volunteers to help us give competitors and spectators the best experience possible.
 

They would like to hear from anyone interested in volunteering as a Course Marshal or Refreshment Station Marshal. Those who could help with traffic management around the event, serve food and drink, run stalls and assist in running the Family Fun Day that takes place on the same day at Brathay Hall, are also invited to get in touch.

(Volunteers need to be aged 18+ for roles out on the marathon course, and will receive training and information about the marathon including the route, use of radios and emergency procedures.)
