Vanguard Way Marathon attracts 100 Marathon Clubbers
The Vanguard Way Marathon will be held next Saturday, August 3rd 2013 . This event is somewhat unique in that it brings together many 100 Marathon Club members - some have completed well over 800 marathons along with some of Britain's best ultra runners and organisers are expecting the competition to be hot!
The Vanguard Way path stretches 66 miles from East Croydon to the south coast at Newhaven and was created by a rambling group called the Vanguards . It is an exceptionally scenic and varied route mainly along trails.
In conjunction with Croydon Council the organisers have ensured that event protocol is followed and have organised access and use of the new Pavillion at Lloyd Park , Croydon.

Entries for the race are now closed and the race organiser credited runbritain for our support saying, "runbritain's website once again has been excellent to help me capture all the runners I need for my Vanguard Way event on August 3rd 2013."
