UKA Licence Standards for Road and MT Events

Race Director software

Following a review of the 2016 UKA Licence Standards for Road and MT Events by the runbritain Technical Group, there have been a few amendments made to the 2017 version of the Licence Standards.

The changes are:

·         Item 7 – the requirement for the Association of UK course Measurers (AUKCM) to certify a measured course annually.

·         Item 25 – a runner should have a number, or in some cases for elites, their name on the front of their running top.

·         Item 34 – Medical Risk Assessment added.

·         Item 38 – reporting of a death or serious incident to be made to UKA within 48 hours.

The  Race Director's Handbook for 2017 and 2017 Licence standards can be found in our Race Directors' section of the website.

The 2017 handbook replaces earlier versions that have been used by race directors all over Britain.
