Tour of Tameside is back!

After a 14 year absence, it has been announced that the Tour of Tameside, that was so popular in the first running boom of the 80s, is to return this year, as a three day event. Entries are now open with an early bird offer £45 (full price £60). For this first year there will be a limit of 1000 places for the whole event - first come - first served - enter now and dont miss out !

Run a marathon in 3 days over different distances and terrains.

• Friday 19th June - 6 Mile Fell run
• Saturday 20th June - Longdendale Trail - High Peak Half Marathon.
• Sunday 21st June - Hyde 7 Mile road race

Prizes - Each race:

1st male and female - £250

2nd male and female - £150

3rd male and female - £75

Plus £500 for Male and Female overall winners of the Tour

All runners who complete the Tour of Tameside will receive a commemorative medal and technical T Shirt.
