Tikiboo launch partnership with the Breast Cancer Now charity

Tikiboo cancer kit

With World Cancer Day this week, award-winning activewear brand  Tikiboo  are delighted to launch their brand new workout collection with  Breast Cancer Now.  This new one-year partnership will see the brand raise upwards of £20,000 for the charity.

Tikiboo will continue to add to the Breast Cancer Now range, including key activation points throughout the year such as Breast Cancer Awareness month and Breast Cancer Now’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign in April.

The range has been designed in Tikiboo’s signature quirky style, with four prints available in sports bras, exercise vests and tops, capris and leggings. Each product in the new range will carry a 20% donation to Breast Cancer Now to help fund vital breast cancer research.

Faye and Daniel Jobbins, co-founders of Tikiboo and husband and wife team, say of the new partnership: “Breast cancer is a disease that has affected our loved ones, so not only is Breast Cancer Now a brilliant charity to work with, but it holds sentimental value for us too. We also pride ourselves on the relationships we have with our customers, and there are a lot of strong women in our Tikiboo community that have recovered from cancer and gone on to be superstars in their own right. For us, we also want to show support to these women and we are confident that we will be able to surpass our aim of raising £20,000 in a year.”

Carrie Green, Assistant Director of Corporate Engagement and Partnerships at Breast Cancer Now, said: “We’re so grateful to the Tikiboo team for their fantastic support of Breast Cancer Now, and we’re excited to see the launch of this new product range which has been designed to raise money for the charity. Each year, around 55,000 women in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer, and heartbreakingly, around 11,500 women lose their lives to the disease. We urgently need to invest in research to stop breast cancer taking the lives of those we love, and with the support of the Tikiboo team and their customers, the money raised through this partnership will help take us a step closer towards our ambition that by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live – and live well.”

The clothing range will be available to buy online from www.tikiboo.co.uk from February 4 2019 onwards, and will be available in sizes XS to XXL.
