Woo hoo! It's Easter weekend and that means more race days and more chance to reduce your handicap score.

With only today, tomorrow and Sunday left to make a difference to your score during the month of March it's time to lace up your training shoes and get yourself on the start line of whichever race or parkrun you've targeted this Easter weekend.

Reward Running, sponsored by adidas and Sennheiser, will reward the runners who improve their handicaps the most this month. The most improved will receive an adidas miCoach and the rest of the top 10 a set of Sennheisher headphones. There will also be some spot prizes each month.

Within the top 10, one place is reserved for the most improved in each of the four handicap categories:

1: 5 or under
2: 6-12
3: 13-20
4: 21 or above

There is also one place reserved for the most improved runner that has run at least 10 races in the year before the competition month.

To enter the main competition, you need to have done at least two races this year before this month although other runners will be eligible for the spot prizes. If you haven't already signed up to Reward Running make sure you do it today! A pop-up will sometimes appear on any pages when browsing the rankings pages, if you haven't already entered, or you can enter on your profile page.

The current leader is Martin George who has dropped his handicap by more than 9 points through 3 races this month. One of his best performances was a 84:03 half marathon at Llanelli, where he knocked more than 2 minutes off the time that he clocked there in 2012. Hot on his heels is John Hayes who is more than 7 points lower than he was on 1 March. John has been getting stuck into the parkruns and lowered his 5k time by more than 6 minutes from 25:08 to 18:52.

Both Martin and John are in category 3 for runners who have handicaps between 13 and 20.

At the time of writing the following runners are leading their categories:

1. Ali Wilson (improved by 2.121)

2. Robert Mann (improved by 4.294)

3. Martin George (improved by 9.066)

4. James Connell (improved 6.514)
