Vernon and Allison in winning mode at Manchester and Peterborough

Andy Vernon (handicap -6.7) was successful with a Manchester Half Marathon win while Lucian Allison (handicap -4.9) had a breakthrough performance in Peterborough's Perkins Great Eastern Run.

AndyVernon (handicap -6.7) was again in winning mode at the front of the Manchester Half Marathon (63:39) ahead of Luke Traynor (handicap -6.7) and Kieran Clements (handicap -5.5) whose debut of 64:32 augurs well for the future.
Lauren Howarth (handicap -0.3) was in commanding form with a PB of 74:16 ahead of Calli Thackery (handicap 1.3) .
Lucian Allison (handicap -4.6) ran a great PB with a 65:26 win, in the rain, at Peterborough's Perkins Great Eastern Half Marathon. Clara Evans (handicap 0.6) was a busy racer, running a strong 76:00 within a day of racing the Cross Challenge in Cardiff and just a week after the Cardiff Half Marathon.
Paul Martelletti (handicap -4.9) and Katherine Wood (handicap 0.9) topped the podium in the Asda FoundationYorkshire Marathon. Martelletti’s time in victory was 2:27:02, while Wood was a clear winner in 2:41:35 in a massive 25 minute PB, which was a great follow up to her recent win in Nottingham.
