The Swansea Bay 5k is back for 2022
The Swansea Bay Summer 5k Series and Fun Run, which will be in its fourth year with an opportunity to take in the sea air on a fast course blessed with sunshine for much of the summer.
After a period of absence due to COVID-19, organisers are excited to for its return and again all proceeds will be donated to the Paul Popham Fund, Renal Support Wales who support children, youths and adults with kidney disease, their families and carers in Wales.
This year the series will take place on the second Wednesday of May, June and July, with the main race starting at 7pm and the children’s fun run starting at 6pm.
As this is the first time that the event is taking place since COVID, some changes have been made to the event and route.
The organisers want to welcome all past and new participants to this competitive and fun event and help mark its return. With that in mind, they have reduced the fee to say thank you in advance of your continued support!
