The final #clickyourclock competition winner is… Susan Rae!

OH1 sensor

We are pleased to announce the winner of the final week of the 2019  #clickyourclock competition as Susan Rae (handicap 15.0) from Hastings Runners.

Throughout 2019 we have been rewarding runners who have improved their handicap score with a Polar OH1 - Optical Heart Sensor.

Every Thursday, through the spring and summer, a random draw has been made from all those runners on the #clickyourclock leaderboard whose scores have improved by any amount in the preceding seven days and the prize has been a Polar OH1 Optical heart rate sensor.

This week, there were 1098 clocks clicked and, out of those, 449 showed an improvement and so went into the draw.

The numbers entering our #clickyourclock competition have increased year on year which correlates with both the numbers participating and the excellent improvements made by our running community. The statistics confirm the amazing progress made by runners across the UK.

Over 30,000 took part in the #clickyourclock competition in 2019 compared to just 16,000 in 2016.  There were well over 14,000 improvers eligible for the prizes in 2019 compared with 9267 in 2017.

Susan Rae (handicap 15.0) was picked, at random and will soon be receiving her prize. She ran the Fell Foot parkrun in 25:10. This took 0.386 off her handicap score. Well done Susan - we hope you enjoy your prize and it helps bring your score down even further!
