The final #clickyourclock competition winner is... Mike Bourke!

We are pleased to announce the winner, of the final week of the 2018 #clickyourclock competition, as Mike Bourke (handicap 11.3).
Throughout 2018 we have been rewarding runners who have improved their handicap score with an A300 Polar Fitness and Activity Tracker.
At 1200 each Wednesday, from Spring until today, a random draw has been made from all those runners on the #clickyourclock leaderboard whose scores have improved by any amount in the preceding seven days and the prize has been a Polar A300 Fitness and Activity Tracker.
This week, there were 1096 clocks clicked and, out of those, 481 showed an improvement and so went into the draw.
The numbers entering our #clickyourclock competition have increased year on year which correlates with both the numbers participating and the excellent improvements made by our running community. The statistics back up the amazing progress made by runners across the home nations.
Over 27,000 took part in the #clickyourclock competition in 2018 compared to just 16,000 in 2016. There were well over 12,000 improvers eligible for the prizes in 2018 compared with 9267 last year. The average handicap of the winners were 11.4 this year.
Mike Bourke (handicap 11.3) was picked, at random, today, and will soon be receiving his prize. He ran the Overton 5 road race in 37:33. This took 0.29 off his handicap score. Well done Mike - we hope you enjoy your prize and it helps bring your score down even further!
