The Deepings Charity Runs

Deeping fun run

The Market Deeping Rotary charity run for 2022 will be on Sunday, May 22nd. Both the 3k Fun Run and the 10k Road Race are licensed by England Athletics. The 3k Fun Run starts at 10:00 am, and the 10k Road Race begins at 11:00 am. Both runs this year will use chip timing for the first time.

Venue - Both runs start and finish in the playing fields at the Deeping Rugby Club, which is situated on Spalding Road in Deeping St James. The Rugby Clubhouse on the field is used as the administration centre for both runs. The Clubhouse has both toilets and changing rooms, but no secure kit storage is available.

The 3 k Fun Run uses roads in the housing estate to the west of the playing fields. The 10 k Road Race, which is over a measured course, starts on the same route but then uses open country roads to the east of the playing fields. Both races finish back on the playing field.

Please note that on safety grounds and in accordance with EA rules, runners must not wear earphones (bone-conducting earphones excepted). Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
