Tenth anniversary of the Brathay Windermere Marathon

Brathay medal

Entries are now open for the 2016 Brathay Windermere Marathon and the NEW Half Marathon that will take place on Sunday 22 May.

The Brathay Windermere Marathon is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year and has limited one-off anniversary bling for all runners and a special Lake District goody bag!

Visiting Cumbria and spending money in the county is a fantastic way to help Cumbria get back on its feet after the floods, so why not enter the Marathon or new Half Marathon.

Gary Wade (handicap 10.6), age 57, has completed the Brathay Windermere Marathon in 2007, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15!!...and has entered in this year’s event! So far he’s the only runner who could complete all 10 Brathay Windermere Marathons!
