With a super-fast course through many famous and cosy parts of the Danish capital the race invites many personal best times. Copenhagen Half Marathon will be held Sunday 13 September 2015.
The brand new world class half marathon, Copenhagen Half Marathon will be held Sunday 13 September 2015 in the Danish capital. The race has been moved forward one week compared to the original date.
"We have decided to move the race to Sunday 13 September as for many Danish and International runners, it will be an advantage that they now have two weeks between Copenhagen Half Marathon and Berlin Marathon, which will be held on September 27, so they do not have to choose between the two big races", says Director of the Danish Athletic Federation Jakob Larsen.
An even better course than to the World Half Marathon Championships in Copenhagen
Race Director of the New York City Marathon, Mary Wittenberg, was among the participants and described the course as incredibly beautiful and flat as Berlin. Director of the Danish Athletic Federation, Jakob Larsen, describes the cphhalf course as even better than the popular WHM course. Some of the Danish elite runners who also represented Denmark at the World Championships have looked at the recently published course and are also satisfied.
