Scott does grand slam in Edinburgh
The Edinburgh Marathon Festival took place this weekend in Scotland's capital city. The Festival included a 5k, 10k, Half Marathon and Marathon along with a relay and junior events.
For most, one of these races would be enough but Scott Hutchison (handicap 19.2) laced up his racing shoes for the 5k, 10k, half marathon and marathon! He ran the 5k and 10k yesterday and this morning was on the start line for the half marathon at 0800hrs followed by the full marathon at 0950hrs!
Millions of pounds are expected to be raised from this year's festival. Scott hopes his grand slam will raise funds for Arthritis Research UK and Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust whilst more than 1500 runners from MacMillan Cancer Support took part along with supporters of dozens of other charities.
Good luck to all in your fundraising efforts!
