Runners rewarded in July
We are pleased to bring you the results of our Reward Running competition for July.
This competition, sponsored by adidas and Sennheiser, rewards runners who have improved their handicap score by the largest amount with an adidas miCoach or Sennheiser headphones.
The overall winner is Guy Whitfield who topped the chart with a massive 9.586 improvement! His best performance is undoubtedly his run at the Debdale Grand Prix 7k, where he had a vSSS score of MINUS 4.9. The vSSS looks at how well an individual has run, compared with the others in the race, whilst taking into consideration their previous performances. This particular race and distance clearly suits Guy as his vSSS in 2012, on the same course, was MINUS 8.3! Guy will shortly receive an adidas miCoach for his performance.
