runbritainrankings: Olympic-related site upgrade!
With day one of the athletics now underway in the Olympic Stadium, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve just rolled out a new version of runbritainrankings.com to include track races of 3000m or longer in our handicap system and National Ladder!
With the changes taken into account, Mo Farah - who competes in the Olympic Games 10,000m final tomorrow night (Saturday 4 August) - now leads the men’s National Ladder from Scott Overall (who takes place in the Olympic marathon) and fellow 10,000m contender Chris Thompson.
In fact, the top five men are all Olympians with Lee Merrien and Nick McCormick currently placing fourth and fifth respectively.
In the women's National Ladder, Jo Pavey – who goes in tonight’s Olympic women’s 10,000m final - leads from Claire Hallissey in second, Freya Murray in fifth, Julia Bleasdale in sixth and Mara Yamauchi in eighth.
All athletes could improve with positive performances in the next week!
In addition to the track improvements, we’re also pleased to advise that the "inline" quick sort of events has been fixed on the athlete profiles and the performance and date options are now fully working! There have also been some minor improvements to the SSS calculations.
