RUN - will seeing lead to doing?

Construction has begun in Olympic Park on RUN, a sculpture created by internationally-renowned artist Monica Bonvicini.
The artwork is made up of three nine-metre-tall letters forming the word RUN in capital letters, each weighing ten tonnes. It will be largest standalone sculpture on the Park and will be located outside the Copper Box. The letters are made from steel and reflective glass to create a mirror effect during the day. LED lighting inside the sculpture will reflect off a series of internal curved mirrors to illuminate the artwork during the dark. It will take around six weeks to fit all the components to the letters, including the glass and 305m of energy efficient LED lighting.
The sculpture will be seen by the thousands of visitors to Olympic Park during the Games and afterwards. Perhaps seeing will lead to more people doing what we know and love - RUN!
