Road Traffic Management course
England Athletics have organised a Road Traffic Management course for anyone considering undertaking the role of Traffic Management Operative (TMO) in order to understand how to deal with road closures and diversions.

This course is for all Event Organisers and Event Marshals both in the commercial and voluntary sectors, and particularly for those involved with cross-country and road races. This is a one day course that will equip delegates with sufficient information and knowledge to safely direct traffic movements at events.
Cost: £70 (subsidised cost for applicants who are affiliated to England Athletics) or £140 (non-affiliated cost)
Length: 1 day course (normal times 9am - 4.30pm unless stated otherwise)

Qualification Gained: This is a national award through the NCFE (http://www.ncfe.org.uk) and each delegate will receive a certificate on completion of the course.
In addition, UK Athletics insurers have underwritten the training.
