Top times at Ribble Valley 10k

Judd on track 2017

The Ribble Valley 10k had ideal conditions to close out 2019 with super fast performances. 12 men finished under 30 minutes and nine women under 35 minutes as Marc Scott and Jess Judd topped the podiums in 28:32 and 32:17 respectively.

This personal best performance places Jess Judd (handicap -2.2)  6th on the women’s runbritain 10k rankings whilst  Rachael Franklin (handicap 0.7) ran a fantastic 33:24, just three seconds ahead of Holly Archer (handicap -0.3)  in her first 10k of the year.

The top three men came in under 29 minutes with Marc Scott  (handicap -6.2) also setting a PB. Scott knocked 25 seconds off his previous road best time with his 28:32. Triathlete, Ben Dijkstra (handicap 5.1) came in second with 28:53 in his 10k debut. Charlie Da'Vall Grice (handicap -6.6) ran an impressive  28:54 which augurs well for the 1500m specialist. 

Junior Josh Cowperthwaite (handicap -4.5) ran an impressive 29:36.
