Reward for race organiser feedback

262 Cupid - Valentines 19k

During August, we asked race organisers to take part in a short survey that would help us ensure the services we provide are relevant and of value. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey and have rewarded one lucky respondent with a pair of New Balance running shoes and t shirt.

Jacqueline Chang is involved in the *Valentines 10k that is organised by the 26.2 Road Runners Club, based in Surbiton. We contacted Jacqueline last week to let her know that we had drawn her name out of the hat for a prize. Jacqueline was thrilled to hear the news and said,

"We always get a race licence for this event and find the support of runbritain and England Athletics both valuable and reassuring. Filling in surveys which ask why we use a race licence and what is important to us as race organisers is an easy way to send feedback to runbritain and EA.  By doing this we can articulate what we, as race organisers value and this will help shape the support provision of the future. Winning the draw is simply the icing on the cake and I was happily surprised to receive the email with the good news!  I am looking forward to my new trainers and top so I must thank EA and runbritain for that."

*The 2017 Valentines 10k is provisionally set for 12th February. It is a well-marshalled, fast, single-lap road race that always receives great reviews from the runners. The race also has a great reputation for generous goody bags for all finishers.
