The organisers' mission is to upgrade Ras y Moelwyn to compete on a par with other top events in the area, such as the Wyddfa and Cader Idris races and believe the race has the potential to be one of the main events in the UK. The race is over ten and a half miles and has 2,800 feet of climb and so a focussed training programme is required.
