Race Directors' Course will develop your race to meet all licensing standards and more

Are you involved in race management? If so, it may be time to develop or refresh your knowledge in order to make your next event even more successful .
We will be holding an Accredited Race Directors' Course in Manchester on 28 November. The course is designed to widen your understanding of the logistics of staging a successful race, increase your knowledge of the legislation required and take advantage of the networking opportunities presented.
David Martin-Jewell, Race Director of the JCP Swansea Half Marathon, (pictured) attended a previous course and said:
"As Race Director of a new race, I knew there would be a significant amount of red tape and procedures to follow in setting up a new half marathon. When I heard about the UKA Race Directors Course, the Swansea Half team attended and we were not disappointed. The course provides a detailed overview of the main aspects of race management and administration along with plenty of opportunities for attendees to participate and ask questions. From my perspective, this course will help race directors, technical directors or anyone involved in race management and development. Whether you have a new race or one that has been on the circuit for many years, this course is a great refresher and provides a fantastic knowledge base to help develop your race to meet all current licensing standards"
Come along to this course and make your next event excellent.
