Polar V800 for Reward Running winner

The results of the Reward Running competition for October are out now!

This competition, sponsored by Polar, rewards runners who have improved their handicap score by the largest amount with a Polar Heart Rate Monitor.

October's winner was Darran Cook (handicap 8.4) who make a 7.083 improvement. He started the month on 15.5 after only racing twice since the beginning of the year and once in 2013 but by putting in a great performance at the Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon (3:12:59) on 12 October and following it up with 42:13 at the Haltemprice RRC 10k on 26 October he found himself on the top of the Reward Running Leaderboard!

Darran will shortly receive a  Polar V800 with integrated GPS for his October improvement.

November is the final month for Reward Running 2014, At the end of each month since March we have rewarded the runner who has improved their handicap the most in that month with a Polar heart rate monitor.

If you haven't already signed up to Reward Running make sure you do it today to be in the competition for the last time this year. A pop-up will sometimes appear on any pages when browsing the rankings pages, if you haven't already entered, or you can enter on your profile page. November's prize will also be a Polar v800 with integrated GPS.
