Places available for The Bridge Trust at the Tonbridge Half Marathon

The Bridge Trust are delighted to have been selected by Tonbridge Lions and Tonbridge Rotary as the main official charity for this year's Tonbridge Half Marathon and to be able to offer runners a free charity place in exchange for raising a minimum of £50 in sponsorship.

The race starts and finishes at West Kent College. It is a popular event and is well supported by the public who line the route cheering on all the runners.

THE CAUSE: Provision of good quality accommodation and support services to single homeless adults in West Kent

THE COURSE: Scenic and undulating traffic-free route along country lanes around Tonbridge and Leigh

THE COST: FREE PLACE in exchange for raising minimum sponsorship of £50 (hopefully more please!)              

RACE HEADQUARTERS: West Kent College. Separate male/female changing facilities, secure bag and valuables storage, sports massage facilities, warm-up area.

PARKING: Ample parking close to the Start at Wes tKent College, Judd School and nearby Hayesbrook School across the road from the College. Further car parking is available in the town centre, 5 minutes walk.

Volunteer Marshals needed - as the main official charity for this event, the Organisers have asked The Bridge Trust to provide volunteers to be Marshals on the day, based at the Race Village (at West Kent College) or out on the course.  The race starts at 10 a.m. and volunteers would need to be at the Race Village by 9 a.m. or, if stationed out on the course, at 9.45 a.m.  Anyone interested and willing to help out should email [email protected]
