parkruns prominent in weekend results

Jonny Hay (handicap -5.1) was in 14:33 form at Bushy Park to record the men’s fastest parkrun time across the UK on Saturday. He was running at the Bushy event for the first time, although he has a 5k road personal best 14:12 from Armagh (which had almost 100 runners under 15 minutes in February).
14:36 5k runner, Tommy Horton (handicap -3.5) took the men’s number two spot after running a parkrun best 15:28 at the Rother Valley parkrun on Saturday before taking the South Yourkshire cross country title on Sunday at Graves Park.
Georgia Hayes (handicap 1.1) was quickest with 17:43 at the Newbury parkrun. The Reading AC athlete was running in her 37th parkrun.

Telford boasted 49 sub 31 minute chip times over the 10k on Sunday.
Both Callan Moody and Jack Gray (handicap -5.1) were credited with a chip time of 29:31 at the front with Emily Hosker-Thornhill (handicap -1.6) running 32:52.
