parkrun weekend update
With just under 11,300 parkrun events and almost 192,000 participants, parkrun is growing in popularity every week!
Inevitably there are cancellations and changes however, and so that you don't miss out on your weekend fix, we've provided a brief update on those changes which hopefully gives you enough time to find another parkrun event nearby!
Cancellations and course changes
*Albert parkrun is not starting at the later time of 11am on 14h July due to The Mela. The Mela has now been relocated to Centre Square. It starts at 9am as per usual.
*Basingstoke parkrun will be at their alternative course in Crabtree Plantation on 14 and 28 July.
*Guildford parkrun is cancelled on 14 July due to Guilfest.
*York parkrun is cancelled on 14 July due to Horse Racing at the Racecourse.
*Medina parkrun is cancelled on 14 July.
*Princes parkrun is moving next door to Sefton Park on 14 July as the Brouhaha Festival is taking place and starts at the slightly later time of 9:15am.
*Marple parkrun is cancelled on 14 July due to a Dog Show in the park.
*Swindon parkrun is cancelled on 14 July due to the Big Arts Day taking place in the park.
*Havant parkrun is cancelled on 14 July because The Hampshire Water Festival takes place in Staunton Country Park.
