Pacemakers at Brooks Fleet Half Marathon – 20th March 2016
Fleet & Crookham AC, organisers of the annual Brooks Fleet pre-London Half Marathon has news for all runners looking for a PB in the spring.
Race Director, Penny Abbott says ” We are delighted to let runners know we have secured some pace makers for the Fleet Half in March. We will have highly visible pace makers to get runners round in 1:30, 1:45, 2:00 and 2:15 so if you have been trying to break these barriers, now could be your chance. Take away some of the personal struggle by letting a pace maker guide you and keep you on track.”
If you get that PB time, why not personalise your medal with an iTab showing your PB time. Another enhancement for 2016, allows runners to purchase an iTab at point of entry and within days of completing the run, you will receive an engraved iTab with your name and time on it, which slots into the cut away on the back of your medal. If you entered the race before this option was available, don’t worry you can still order one via the iTab website.
With your name on the front and the chip timers integrated into the race number, rather than worrying about a chip fixed around your ankle or tied to your shoe lace, you are sure to get a great time for your run.
