OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO postponed to November 2020

The organisers of OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO 2020 have confirmed that the event that was due to take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March 2020 has been postponed to Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd November 2020.
The announcement comes as a result of containment measures in Cyprus and across Europe due to COVID-19.
Coronavirus has caused the postponement of many sporting events and races across the world, with OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO one of many to be re-scheduling their event to the autumn.
The organising team of OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO are working hard to deliver the best possible outcome and have issued a postponement policy for runners who were due to #RunLimassol this month. Measures include the automatic transfer of race places from the March event to the November event.

In addition to the postponement of the 2020 event, it has been confirmed that the 15th edition of OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO will take place on 27th- 28th March 2021.
OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO is one of Europe’s most recognisable sporting events, welcoming thousands of athletes of all nationalities each year to this superb weekend celebration of running.
Races include the AIMS-accredited OPAP Limassol Marathon GSO, MUSKITA Half Marathon, Petrolina 10K Energy Race and Medochemie 5K City Race.
