Nominations invited for Race Representatives on the Road Running Management Group
The Road Running Management Group (RRMG) consists of a number of appointed members, all of whom have considerable experience of promoting and managing road races at all levels.
The responsibilities of the RRMG include; setting licence standards and overseeing the road race licencing process; maintaining and publishing the Race Director Handbook; recommending and approving changes to UKA Rules for Competition relating to road racing; maintaining and publishing guidance on medical requirements at road races and encouraging improved standards of promotion of road races.
The RRMG is seeking to recruit three members to serve on the group from 1st September 2017.
The members will be:
- Representative of small races - fewer than 500 entrants
- Representative of medium sized races - between 500 and 2,000 entrants
- Representative of larger races - over 2,000 entrants
