MYLAPS is the event timing technology company that will attend the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham from 1st to 3rd March 2018.

This will give an opportunity for race organisers to discuss how MYLAPS can facilitate sport events and add value with their timing technologies and other services.

Should you be interested in meeting MYLAPS then please contact

2017 was the year Nike tried to break the magical 2-hour time barrier for a full marathon on the Monza circuit in Italy. Eliud Kipchoge, a 32-year-old Kenyan, came really close but ended up running the 42.195 kilometers in a time of 2:00:25. To get the most accurate timing possible for the Breaking2 event Mika Timing used MYLAP's ProChip’s.

There were high hopes for the Berlin marathon, many believed to witness a new marathon world record. Unfortunately, the high expectations could not be met, but Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge put down a stellar performance and won the Berlin marathon with a time of 2:03:32. That’s the seventh fastest “legal” marathon ever! Kipchoge’s time and that of all the other runners was timed by Mika Timing using ChampionChip. Gladys Cherono from Kenya won the women’s race in 2:20:23. 43 852 was the total number of finishers timed by MYLAPS!
