Mental Health Awareness week

It is Mental Health Awareness Week and what better way to show support than signing up to take part in Mental Health UK’s flagship virtual event, ‘Move it for Mental Health’ and bag yourself a medal when you raise over £100.
Mental Health UK exists to provide advice and information to people that need it and support them at some of the most difficult times in their lives. “The pandemic has been tough for so many people and shone a very bright light on how much needs to be done to support people with their mental health, and this is a small way for people to get involved, spread the word and help the organisation to do just that” says Mel Oley, associate Director of Fundraising and supporter engagement.
Mental Health UK are asking supporters to get moving for a month to help raise vital funds for the organisation. You can start when you want, move in whatever way you want and do it solo or with others. You can find out more and register here https://mentalhealth-uk.org/get-involved/events/move-it-for-mental-health/
All monies raised through Move it for Mental Health will allow Mental Health UK to continue to offer the advice, information and support that mean so much to so many.

£10 could enable 100 people to benefit from our resource booklets on common mental health problems and where to seek support
£500 could enable us to run an online workshop on how to look after your mental health, helping people that are struggling.
