London Marathon Expo organiser home and dry!

John Beeden, the organiser of the London Marathon Expo is home and dry after rowing solo across the Atlantic in a 6.25 metre boat. He left the Canary Islands on 23 November and arrived in Barbados yesterday, just before lunch time. According to his blog he has wobbly legs, chapped lips and calloused hands, but apart from that he is in good shape.

John has funded this adventure himself so that all money raised is split between three charities: The Prostate Cancer Charity (UK), Breast Cancer Care (UK) and Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation (Canada).
