Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon

Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon

We are inviting the top 250 British men and women in the runbritain Grand Prix to sign up for the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon on 6 October.

The points standings have been updated following round four at yesterday’s Admiral Swansea Bay 10k and can be accessed at by clicking on the ‘Grand Prix’ tab. There is £60,000 of British-only prize money across the six race series and one of the benefits of being placed in the top 250 British runners is that you are now entitled to enter the next race in the Grand Prix after the normal closing date. Public entries for the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon closed on Monday 16th September with a record 19,000 runners but you may still enter up until noon on Monday 30th September by dialling 07773 468395.

This year’s race also incorporates the British Half Marathon Championships for individuals and clubs and Cardiff is bidding to host the IAAF World Half Marathon Championship in 2016. It’s a flat, fast course with good crowds,  a great atmosphere and already a strong domestic line-up, as you would expect from a runbritain Grand Prix event. We hope that if you are not already entered it will form part of your autumn racing plans and look forward to extending a warm welcome to you in Cardifffor some great racing on 6th October.
