Last weekend for October Reward Running

Are you racing this weekend? Will you have reduced your handicap score by more than five during October?
If so, make sure you sign up for Reward Running before the end of the month.
Currently we have two runners who have reduced their handicap by more than five this month and one of them is Adam Woska (handicap 10.3) who has already won one Polar V800 for being top of the tree in the September competition!
Last month he made a massive improvement of 12.806 points and said,"As someone who's just trying to get into running I found Reward Running provided that extra bit of motivation for me to get into the habit of
running during the week in order that I could keep on improving. So far I've been amazed at how much I've been able to shave off my times every weekend, and whilst I'm not sure how long the improvements will
continue, I'm pretty sure the running habit's here to stay"
Well, it appears that this habit is here to stay as Adam has continued to do one parkrun per week, no matter where in the country he happens to be. His times have started to plateau now at around 21:00 - 21:30 (he was on 28:40 at the beginning of September) but he is still being rewarded for regular racing.
Matthew Petrie (handicap 11.4) has a very good chance of edging past Adam, as long as he races this weekend as his performances are also 'on the up'.
Could you also be in contention? Have you been racing regularly through October? Where are you racing this weekend? Can you bring your score down?
This competition, sponsored by Polar, rewards runners who have improved their handicap score by the largest amount with a Polar V800 with integrated GPS Come on! Adam already has one of these - will we be able to send this one out to someone else? If he does stay in the lead it will be the first time in the history of the competition that anyone has won twice!
It doesn't matter when in the month you enter the competition, your scores will count for the whole month so good luck with your racing this weekend! When you get home, don't forget to enter this month's competition. Please go to your profile page and click the Enter button.
Good luck with bringing your October score down!
