Last weekend coming up for Reward Running

Reward Running

We now have only one weekend left for you to take down your handicap score and be in with a chance to win a Polar RC3 GPS heart Rate Monitor (RRP £249.50) in the March competition of  Reward Running 2014

Rohan Kallicharan (handicap 9.1) is currently topping the table after taking his score down by more than six points! Rohan started the month on 15.8 and then travelled over to Paris for the half marathon. There, he broke 90 minutes for the first time when he clocked 88:09. This took his score down to 13.7 and then a week later he ran the Ashby 20 in 2:22:45 and knocked a massive 4.7 off his score landing him on a handicap of 9.0. He hasn't raced since then and so it has slipped back to 9.1. Now his nearest competitors are wondering if he will be feeling fit and feisty this weekend and ready to put in another great performance.

David Panton (handicap 12.1) is chasing him hard. He has also reduced his score by more than six points. He started the month on 18.3 and slipped back to 18.5 through lack of racing until he ran 98:27 at the Stafford Half Marathon where he took it down to 14.9. He then knocked just one second off that time at the Stanford Hall Half Marathon to achieve a handicap of 12.0.

At  the end of each month from March until October, the runner who improves their handicap the most in that month will receive a Polar heart rate monitor and this month's prize is a Polar RC3 GPS heart Rate Monitor (RRP £249.50). Make sure you are in it to win it!

It doesn't matter when you enter the competition as long as you do it before midnight on Monday! Your scores will count for the whole month. Go to your profile page and click the Enter button. Good luck with your racing this weekend. We hope you take a good chunk off your score!
