Last chance to reigster for Ealing Half Marathon

After months of hard work, the first ever Ealing Half Marathon is now just around the corner, taking place on Sunday 30 September.

Online registration will be closing tomorrow, Friday 14 September, so this is your last chance to get involved, to take part in a historic race, and to get that "Ealing feeling".

Runners who register by Friday 14 September will confirm their place and receive their race pack with their race number and timing chip in the post prior to the event. Only be a limited number of places will available on race day itself.

Starting (at 09.15) and finishing in West London’s picturesque Lammas Park, the course is relatively flat and offers a single, traffic free lap taking in Ealing Broadway, North and West Ealing before returning through Walpole.

Locals are encouraged to line the streets of the Borough to cheer on the runners and create a motivational atmosphere for runners to remember, and everyone is welcome to visit the race village in Lammas Park.

There is excellent access to the start of the race and the race village by public transport, as well as easy access from the various motorways.

Sponsors of the Ealing Half Marathon include Danone Waters (UK & Ireland) Limited, Up and Running, Garmin, Xempo, Clif Bar, Halo Headband UK, Tuk Cho, Orchards of London, Move Clinics, Quit The Gym, Bodyline Studios and Running fitness. The event is supported by Ealing Eagles Running Club, Ealing Council and TfL.

Epilepsy Action is the Official Charity for the Ealing Half Marathon 2012 and runners are encouraged to raise money for Epilepsy Action.
