Julia Bleasdale on top of the ladder

Last weekend, Julia Bleasdale (handicap MINUS 2.1) ran 31:42.02 for the 10,000m at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational in Stanford, California, showing her best form since the London Olympics.
This superb performance put her at the top of the runbritain National Ladder, knocking Gemma Steel (handicap MINUS 1.7) into second spot. At the same meeting, Emelia Gorecka (handicap MINUS 1.7) ran 15:07.45 for the 5000m. This was a huge personal best time and it also put her 11th on the all-time list. Emelia is now 3rd, on the ladder, and just a smidgen behind Gemma. Their actual handicaps are: Gemma 1.699, Emelia 1.669.
Meanwhile, on the men's ladder, Andy Vernon (handicap MINUS 6.4) is getting closer to Mo Farah (handicap MINUS 6.6). Andy ran 13:11.50 for the 5000m at Stanford and this puts him 6th on the all-time list.
