Jenni Falconer to support mini mile racers at Brighton Marathon weekend

Jenni Falconer

The ICONIQ Shlurp! Mini Mile Races take place Saturday 5 April and organisers are excited to announce that TV presenter Jenni Falconer (handicap 22.8) will be there to cheer the children as they race over the one mile distance.

Jenni, who is a keen runner herself and launched the runbritain handicap scoring system, is looking forward to receiving lots of 'high fives' as the children line up for the start of their mini mile races.

This year the Mini Mile is being held the day before the Brighton Marathon in Preston Park.

Places are filling up quickly so avoid disappointment by applying as soon as possible.

The race is open to anyone between the ages of seven and 17. All competitors receive a T-shirt, kit bag and a medal on finishing.

The Mini Mile Races are partnered with Barnardo’s, a charity supported by Shlurp!
